About

This nine-week program allows undergraduate and graduate students to focus on cross-cultural engineering and design practices while exploring the rich history and culture of Japan. In addition to traditional coursework, students will participate in site visits to engineering firms to learn about the design and engineering of Japanese transportation systems, software and games, and manufacturing. There will also be excursions to locations where cross-cultural engineering is put into practice. Students will learn about the cutting-edge research being conducted at local universities and have the opportunity to build and foster professional international connections through industry visits.
