Computer Engineering is where hardware meets software.

Computer Engineering at the University of Florida embodies the craft of analysis, design, and development across the world of computing technology. Students develop the skills necessary to engage theory and application across the spectrum of knowledge – from physics to mathematics – and prepare them to be the nimble engineers of tomorrow.

Our Computer Engineering (CpE) program is jointly offered by the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), with the Department of Engineering Education (EED) administering the program.

Admissions

Prospective CpE students fall into three categories:

• First-year students
• Transfer students
• Students changing their major to CpE
